About This Product
■Product description
The new Atlas10 camera is equipped with Sony's 4th generation Pregius S CMOS sensor, delivering 1.2Gb/s bandwidth with 10GBASE-T PoE, delivering a new level of imaging performance for high-speed applications. Sony's unique back-illuminated pixel structure makes it possible to reduce the pixel size to 2.74m while maintaining superior image quality compared to the previous generation Sony Pregius.
Pregius S CMOS sensors place an interconnect layer below the photodiode to remove obstructions and increase light collection. Shielded memory is added to enable fast, distortion-free global shutter imaging.
■Function
Provides reliable TCP data transfer. TCP's flow control, packet retransmission, and LRO/RSC techniques operate at the hardware level (FPGA/NIC) while providing high-bandwidth image transfer that guarantees full frame delivery. LUCID supports both UDP (GigE Vision) and TCP protocols on the Atlas10 10GigE camera.
Users can easily switch between protocols using the Arena Software Development Kit. Although LUCID's filter driver significantly optimizes UDP for high-speed, low-latency data transmission, some users may want to prioritize guaranteed full-frame delivery above all else by choosing TCP. You may think so.
If your UDP connection is experiencing packet drops or high CPU usage, TCP can provide more reliable data transfer between your 10GigE camera and host PC. LUCID's 10GigE IP core is included in the Atlas10 camera and supports TCP connectivity in addition to traditional UDP connectivity, giving users more options when building 10GigE vision applications.
