About This Product

■Product description

The Atlas 5GigE series is a 5GBASE-T PoE compatible camera equipped with a 2.8-31 million pixel Sony Pregius sensor. GigE Vision and GenICam compliant cameras with data transfer speeds of 600MB/s (5Gbps) enable high resolution, high frame rate imaging via standard Ethernet cables (up to 100m). Active sensor alignment provides excellent optical performance. The IP67 Atlas model maintains the same 5GigE performance, but has a built-in IP67 protection structure and is dustproof and waterproof.

■Function

This Atlas industrial camera is designed for compact size and high bandwidth imaging applications. The 5Gbase-T (5GigE) Ethernet interface is 5x faster than Gigabit Ethernet, 50% faster than first-generation USB3.1, and works up to 100m with regular copper Ethernet cable. Atlas supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to simplify integration and reduce costs. And despite its compact size, Atlas supports large format APS-C image sensors without the need for large heatsinks or fans. 5GigE Atlas achieves the benefits of faster frame rates, compact size, and excellent price/performance ratio. With larger sensors, even slight deviations in sensor tilt or rotation can negatively impact the image. All Atlas cameras feature active alignment to minimize sensor tilt and rotation and center the image sensor on the lens optical axis. This precisely mounted, large-format sensor aligned to the lens mount ensures that images are sharp and crisp, even in the corners.
