JCDA 0009 flame retardant compliance

■Summary

・With embossed skin, heat resistant temperature is -40 to 120℃. It can be used with confidence in refrigerant piping. ・Made with high-quality heat insulating material that complies with JIS standards and has excellent heat retention. - Two types of heat insulation material thickness are available: 10t and 20t. - The surface of the insulation material has a flat embossed shape that prevents slipping when wrapping non-adhesive tape, making it easy to work with. Chemically cross-linked 30x expanded polyethylene with outer layer texture. Conforms to JIS A9511 A-PE-C-2.

■Heat-resistant temperature

-40~120℃ Regarding the regulations for insulation material specifications according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism standard specifications

■Flame retardant

From April 1, 2013, specifications for flame-retardant insulation materials have been stipulated. All of our insulation materials for coated refrigerant piping are flame retardant.

■Thickness of insulation material

From April 1, 2020, regulations have been changed to require the thickness of insulation material for liquid pipes to be 10 mm or more regardless of pipe size. Until now, if the nominal diameter of the liquid pipe was φ9.52 or less, it was possible to use insulation material with a thickness of 8 mm or more, but from now on, the thickness of the insulation material for liquid pipes will need to be 10 mm or more regardless of the pipe size.

■Coated refrigerant piping Ant nest corrosion and precautions during construction

- Ant nest corrosion occurs more frequently in environments where oxygen, moisture, and corrosive media exist. Please pay attention to the following points when constructing piping. - Completely seal the gap between the insulation material and the copper pipe with caulking to prevent condensation or rainwater from entering. Please be especially careful about the downward piping of the outdoor unit. When brazing copper pipes, do not use antioxidants containing alcohol-based solvents. *Other model numbers are available.
