Aquamaid is the trademark for a ``special bellows telescope cylinder'' developed by J-Create that operates using household tap water pressure and can lift up to 200kg.

Features

■No dedicated power source requiredIt operates using only household tap water pressure and does not require any other power source. Since it does not require a power source, there is no need to worry about electrical leakage, and it can be used in times of disaster.

■Easy maintenanceCylinder body: Due to its unique and simple internal structure with no sliding parts, maintenance is easy. It has a cylinder tube and rod structure and can withstand rough use compared to general cylinders that use oil seals on the sliding surface. Also, since there are no sliding parts and no lubricating oil is required, there is no need to worry about oil leakage and it is clean.

Power source: As mentioned in item 1, it operates using household tap water pressure, so it does not have a dedicated power source and does not require any maintenance.

■It is compactThe cylinder body is compact and extends up to 3 times. Space can be saved as there is no need to install a dedicated power source.

■We turned our weaknesses into strengths.Because it is limited to low-pressure use, such as tap water pressure, it is not capable of high-thrust, high-speed operation like hydraulic cylinders, nor is it capable of double-acting operation, so it cannot be used as a replacement for conventional applications. In addition, although routing the water hose for generating cylinder thrust may be difficult, it does not require a dedicated power source, making it possible to save cost and space.

■Summary of featuresWe turned these "weaknesses" into "strengths" and instead of the conventional structure, which is made of rust-resistant but expensive stainless steel, we developed a low-pressure unit with a unique structure that combines a telescope with pressure-resistant cloth and bellows rubber. We have developed a dynamic cylinder.

■About water pressureWater supply for general households is pressurized at around 0.2 MPa to 0.4 MPa so that a sufficient amount of water can be used even at the end of long pipes. The water supply, which is an infrastructure used in every household, can be used as the "power" to move things. The "special bellows type telescope cylinder" uses the "power" of the water supply as a power source, but because it operates at low speed and uses a small amount of water, it may cause a drop in water pressure elsewhere in the home.
