About This Product

Based on the helicopter holder type, we have prototyped a wooden bench type bus lift with a helicopter holder. Eliminating the mechanical image of medical equipment or nursing care equipment, we provide a bathroom space that can be enjoyed by everyone in the family, from children to the elderly, not just those who require assistance, with the theme of "Japanese relaxation." It was developed with the concept of "Let's do it."

The design was handled by Goto Design Office, which is active in the industry. This company also designed stylish and functional Thermos water bottles. In the second model, we attempted to fix it to only a portion of the helicopter, but in the third model, we have designed the entire helicopter to be completely covered with warm wood, making it visually and functionally so that it does not make people think of nursing care. We exhibited at Messe Nagoya 2013.

■Why J-Create is working on developing a “household bath lift”Nowadays, with the declining birthrate and aging of the population, I have learned that the most difficult task for caregivers is ``bathing assistance.''

Although various companies have commercialized "bath lifts" which are devices to assist with bathing, all of them have "advantages and disadvantages". We have heard many comments such as '. For example, large-scale renovation work in the bathroom is necessary and expensive; hydraulic power is a concern for contamination due to oil leaks; the hydraulic power source is noisy; electric drive requires concern about electric shock; and batteries require frequent charging. The high-pitched sound of the drive motor is annoying, the movement is so awkward that it's not practical, it's rusted and doesn't work, etc...

Therefore, we focused on the fact that water is always connected to a bathroom, and developed a bath lift that is driven by a cylinder that moves up and down using only the pressure of tap water. This would solve the problems of existing products and help people who are struggling with assistance. I am confident that I can help you. Developing nursing care equipment for use around water is extremely difficult in terms of safety and ease of use, but building this equipment is the social mission of engineering company J-Create. I see this as one thing and am working on it.
