About This Product

■Summary

Fast and incredibly simple, Discover® SP-D Clinical is purpose-built for the digestion of small clinical samples. This automation system optimizes your laboratory's workflow.

■Features

-Most disassembly can be completed in less than 6 minutes. (including cooling) ・Sample installation and removal are performed automatically. ・Temperature and pressure control for each sample ・Documentation for each sample ・Easy-to-use container with snap-on cap

■Workflow

Just measure the weight, secure the lid, set it up, and leave the rest to us. 1. Weigh the sample and add acid. 2. Snap the cap into place on the system. 3. Select a method and press Play. Hit the Play button and you're done. The system does the rest and lets you know when you have a fully digested sample.

■Accurate & efficient energy transmission

Discover SP-D Clinical's Focused™ microwave cavity creates a precisely defined, highly homogeneous microwave field. This cavity design allows the system to process samples faster and with higher reproducibility compared to batch systems.

■No loss of volatile substances

Batch-type systems use vessels that vent when a set pressure is reached. Using CEM's patented Activent® technology, Discover SP-D Clinical automatically measures pressure and controls vessel venting. This allows for careful venting at preset limits and prevents material loss, including volatile materials such as mercury and arsenic.
