BET specific surface area and pore distribution evaluation from micropores can be evaluated by measuring adsorption isotherms from extremely low pressure regions. Surface characteristics such as hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity, acidity and basicity can be evaluated by measuring organic vapor and water vapor adsorption isotherms. It is possible to measure the adsorption amount and adsorption rate of gases such as hydrogen and methane over a wide temperature and pressure range.

In order to achieve these evaluations, a high-precision pressure sensor and an electrolytically polished manifold block are installed in an air constant temperature chamber maintained at a constant temperature of 50°C (option: 80°C) to prevent surface corrosion. . In addition, pneumatic valves are employed to minimize leaks and gas emissions under high vacuum conditions. Additionally, by optimizing each component, it has evolved into a compact and high-quality device.

BELControl, the common control software for the new generation BELSORP series, uses operation icons to enable intuitive operation, making it easier to evaluate highly accurate data. In addition, GDO (Gas Dosing Optimization) automatically creates optimal measurement conditions based on previously measured adsorption isotherm data, allowing anyone to easily and quickly perform accurate isotherm evaluation. Masu.

Using the measurement data, advanced material evaluation is possible using the dedicated analysis software BELMaster. This product is compatible with various material forms such as compacts, pellets, and fine powders, and is compliant with ISO 9277, 15901-2, and 18852.
