About This Product

■Summary

The Thermo Scientific K-Alpha is a fully integrated monochrome small area X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) system.

■Designed to improve productivity, from research and development to routine analysis

The K-Alpha spectrometer, which is based on the traditional K-Alpha XPS system, offers significantly improved analytical performance. This performance improvement reduces analysis time and improves elemental detection capabilities. It also allows data to be acquired with higher resolution, making it easier to identify chemical states. Analysis options include a vacuum transfer module for transferring air-sensitive samples from the glove box to the system, and a sample tilt holder for ARXPS. K-Alpha can be equipped with the Thermo Scientific™ Avantage data system, which has a variety of features designed to optimize data analysis, reporting, and ease of use. The K-Alpha XPS system combines high performance, monochrome XPS and sputter depth profiling with intelligent automation and intuitive control, regardless of analyst proficiency.
