TG-GC/MS is a method that introduces the gas generated during TG measurement into GC/MS and analyzes what gas components are generated. TG can tell you the decomposition temperature, but by connecting it to GC/MS, it becomes possible to qualitatively determine what kind of gas was generated and when. In other words, it is possible to see the decomposition process over time.

■Performance
There are two types of TG to choose from: hanging type and top plate type, both of which are capable of measuring samples of 100 mg or more. The injection of generated gas through a modern trigger system provides optimal analysis flexibility. Additionally, heated transfer lines and valves reduce blockage and carryover between samples.
■Flexibility
Transfer lines can be easily installed and removed, and measurements can be performed using only TG or GC/MS.
