■Summary
The vibrating cross consists of a cross-shaped clamp fixture and an NTV series fluid air vibrator. The vibrator is attached to the cloth by a quick clamp device from the NVH4 series. The cross is tightened manually using a shift (NKM) or hydraulic cylinder (NKH). When tightened, the four clamp jaws will extend evenly.
Hardwood battens placed between the vibrating cross and the stamping mold wall ensure alignment of the vibrating cross and constant power transmission. Compression is caused by vibratory motion throughout the mold. The same vibrator attached to the base plate can also be used to compress the bottom.
