About This Product

``Katama-kun'' is a simpler and more effective version of ``Raku-raku-kun'' devised by Nature Station CEO Furuya, which prevents intrusion for medium-sized animals in general. "Kataman" proposes a new form of countermeasures against animal damage and feeding damage that skillfully utilizes the habits of animals. It is expected to be particularly effective in protecting valuable crops from raccoons and civets.

■“Katama-kun’s mechanism”

This is a design of a net electric fence for preventing damage from animals that takes advantage of the habits of animals.

■Characteristics of “Katamatan”

"Katama-kun" is divided into three parts with different characteristics, and it is a system that combines the features of each part to prevent animal damage and feeding damage.

■Electricity section

・A conductive wire is installed at the top of the net. ・Has the effect of inducing exploration behavior in medium-sized animals and giving them an electric shock. ・The white conductive wire also has the effect of attracting animals.

■Resin net part

- A hardened net using thermosetting polyester made by Toray Industries, Inc. ・The fence is made of polyester fiber that hardens with heat to ensure its independence. ・Because it is hard, it suppresses biting and promotes guidance to energized parts. ・It has high abrasion resistance and can be used with animals that have high bite correction (raccoon dogs, etc.).

■Skirt part

・Uses soft regular polyester fibers to accommodate uneven ground surfaces. ・It also supports animals that have strong mogul corrections (badgers, raccoon dogs, etc.).

■Construction procedure

1. Check the required parts. 2. Place the posts at 2.5-3.0m intervals. 3. Broaden your net. 4. Hammer in the posts while pulling the net. 5. Fill the skirt with soil. If it is not possible to raise the soil, please set an anchor. 6. Strike the ground. Make sure to leave enough distance between the earths and connect them firmly. 7. Use special metal fittings to connect the joints between the nets. 8. Construction completed.

■“Katamaton” construction results

The product's high effectiveness and easy installation method have led to the support of many users across the country.
