About This Product

■What is ANC?ANC = Active Noise Control (Active Noise Control*1). This is a system that "mutes sound with sound", which actively reduces noise by generating a sound with the opposite phase to the noise.
*1 Sometimes called active noise cancellation.

■ANC development and achievementsSince our company was founded, we have started developing ANC, improving our technical capabilities, and providing consulting services. In 1993, we started developing a prototype device for silencing automobile noise, and in response to various requests, we began developing an ANC evaluation device, and in 2005, we delivered the device to the Tokyo Institute of Technology.

By actually using ANC in various environments, the current ANC noise reduction test system can provide valuable information and experience that cannot be obtained through simulation alone on a PC. It can be used in corporate research institutes, educational institutions, etc.

■FeaturesIt is possible to display and analyze the signal processing waveform inside the device on the oscilloscope on the application in real time. The frequency analyzer on the application allows you to display the desired system transfer function within the device in real time. While checking the signals inside the device, you can change various ANC parameters from the application's control panel even while ANC is running.

The ANC noise reduction test system consists of an "ANC test device" and a PC application "ANC controller".

■ANC test equipmentThe ANC test equipment connects to the PC via USB. In addition, terminals for connecting speakers, etc. via microphones and power amplifiers are concentrated on the front. (On the back is the AC adapter input and ground only.)
