About This Product

Our goal for MELCO™ tape has been to maintain the required functionality and to make it as thin, flexible, and stretchable as possible without sacrificing the inherent elasticity of the tape base material. . This has been our unyielding goal ever since we first developed and put into practical use hot melt adhesive seam sealing tape in 1965.

MELCO™ can be used to waterproof the sewn parts of a wide range of garments, and can be applied using a hot air blower. Recently, we also have the latest ultrasonic fused seam tapes available.

■The main uses of MELCO™ tape are as follows.・Outdoor/sports jackets
