About This Product

This is part of the frost type glass etching agent. Roughens soda glass, tempered glass, alkali-free glass, quartz glass, and borosilicate glass. The composition of the roughening agent differs depending on the type of glass. Each surface roughening agent has two types: coarse etching (deeper frosting) and finer etching (lighter frosting). The coarse etching type and the fine etching type can be mixed in any ratio. Roughens the surface of optical disks, magnetic disks, glass substrates for hard disks, etc. Used to add a textured structure to glass substrates for solar cells.

■Features

- Highly safe and can be used repeatedly. -Liquid type and gel type available. ・Ra can be adjusted in the range of several nm to several hundred nm. ・Minute irregularities can be added to the glass or enamel surface to create an anchor effect and improve adhesion during metal deposition or painting. -Using a textured glass substrate for solar cells increases the light trapping effect.
