About This Product

The GEN2 series will be gradually rolled out from 2023. Compared to GEN1, it has been designed to have lower Qg and Rdson, making it suitable for applications in smaller packages. Since the 1960s, silicon has been the main material for semiconductor devices, and many researchers have investigated the limits of silicon's properties. In fact, various innovations have been developed that go beyond the limits of silicon, leading to the creation of many other types of semiconductor materials. However, why is silicon still the main material in semiconductor technology? It's all about ease of manufacture, high reliability, low cost, and continuous innovation. In power semiconductors, the breakdown voltage is also determined primarily by the carrier concentration in the silicon material, and is also directly related to the on-resistance. The device characteristic limits of power semiconductors are predicted theoretically and are called "silicon limits." However, the superjunction theory breaks this silicon limit, making high withstand voltage and low on-resistance possible. Icemos Technology's MEMS MOSFET is a high voltage MOSFET with a superjunction structure. Using technology that combines silicon MOSFET and MEMS processes, Icemos Technology delivers devices with best-in-class characteristics to the world. Our MEMS technology was developed as a unique manufacturing process, separate from the miniaturization technology that MOSFETs have developed. By combining these two technologies, we were able to improve the performance of MOSFETs.
