About This Product

Water-based anti-slip coating material compatible with a variety of substrates

■Applications

For anti-slip use on a variety of substrates such as vinyl chloride, tiles, concrete, wood, and iron plates. The surface of the FRP structure is treated to a level of roughness, and it adheres well without a primer.

■Features

Since it is a water-based coating material containing aggregate, it can be used on a variety of substrates by simply diluting it with water and processing it.

■Compatible base material

Iron plate/wood/aluminum/vinyl chloride/asphalt/concrete/tile/galvanized Please note that some types of concrete cannot be used. Tile/galvanized cannot be applied with Suberan Safety Coat alone. Please use the special primer EP-5N for the base.

■Notes

Safety Coat can be diluted with water to the desired concentration, but avoid adding more than 20% as this will reduce performance. Avoid installing when the temperature of the base is below 5℃ or above 40℃ as performance will deteriorate. The amount of both undercoat and topcoat applied at one time should be less than 2kg/m2. Since Safety Coat is water-based, please be careful not to get it wet with rainwater until it dries and hardens (at least 8 hours after the top coat is applied). Primer contains solvent, so be careful of fire. Also, if it comes in contact with your skin, it may cause a rash, so wash it off immediately with soap and water. After applying the primer, if the solvent evaporates and it becomes sticky like adhesive tape, it can be used as an undercoat for the safety coat. Safety Coat can be washed off with water, so containers and construction tools can be washed by soaking them in water immediately after use. Primer is not water soluble, so clean it with toluene or paint thinner.
