About This Product

■Product overviewIt's like looking at the real thing through a magnifying glass. The Ortho Scanner is a purely domestic large-scale digital archive image scanner developed, designed, and manufactured by Eye Measure. High-resolution images can be captured without contact using patented orthographic projection technology.

■Orthographic projection image taken with a telecentric lensOrthographic projection is one of the projection methods, and is an image obtained by projecting parallel light from an infinite distance.

■Outstanding perpendicular accuracy and dimensional accuracyThe ortho scanner provides dimensional accuracy of 10,000:1.
*Absolute dimensional accuracy less than ±0.1mm when scanning 1 meter length.
Executed dedicated calibration (dedicated calibration chart, dedicated calibration software, temperature correction).

■High-speed scanning without contactOrtho scanners scan from above the subject without contact, so they do not damage the subject. Captures a scan area of ​​600 x 1,000mm at a resolution of 400ppi in about 3 minutes.

■High-definition scanningScanning is possible from 150ppi to 1,200ppi. It can generate images of up to 3 billion pixels from 2m x 1.5m. Even at high resolution, the scanning area does not become narrow. In addition, by being equipped with an illumination device and a calibration mechanism (shading correction), it is possible to obtain highly repeatable digital images based on the reflectance of the target object.

■PortabilityIt can be disassembled, assembled and adjusted by the user. You can bring a scanner to the museum and take pictures of large-format paintings.

■Faithful color reproduction image with no uneven lightingEquipped with a shading correction function, it automatically corrects uneven illumination from lighting equipment, peripheral dimming of the lens, uneven sensor sensitivity, etc. As a result, you can obtain color information that is faithful to the true color of the subject. Even if the image is scanned several times, the difference in brightness at the joint will be ΔL*<0.4, and no difference in gradation will occur.
