About This Product

■Product overviewNear-infrared images are made easier and more precise. This is an image scanner equipped with near-infrared rays. Infrared image scanners are used to make letters and stamps that use ink, which are common in the East, stand out vividly, making them useful for deciphering wooden tablets that are no longer legible. It is effective for various analyzes such as inspection and quality control of infrared ink, visualization of palm veins, and discrimination of letters on old memorial tablets.

■High S/N image with 65,536 gradations and 16bit In/16bit OutIt is possible to convert slight differences in brightness and darkness of materials, ``unevenness in reflectance/transmittance,'' into two-dimensional images within the A3 size range with an accuracy of 0.0015% (=1/65,536). As a result, it may be possible to visualize images that cannot be seen with the naked eye, a regular digital camera, infrared photography, etc.

■No need for camera or lighting know-howSettings such as illumination light adjustment and shooting angle adjustment are not required. Just place the materials on the glass stand. Anyone can easily get beautiful images.

■Does not damage materials due to short-term infrared irradiationUnlike the camera type, it does not emit infrared rays to valuable materials when it is on standby. The integration time for irradiating infrared rays to capture images is less than a few seconds. In addition, you can check the imported images immediately, so there are no mistakes.

■Distortion-free images, digital data input with image scale informationYou can easily enlarge and scan fine structures without lens distortion. You can obtain distortion-free images by simply placing a wooden tablet or other object on the document table. Automatically calibrates illumination unevenness, making it easy to combine images of patched parts even when importing images of documents larger than A3 size.

Digital image data automatically incorporates dimensional information (scan resolution). Dimensions can be strictly controlled without using rulers or other tools. When you print to your printer, it will automatically be printed at the same size. Ideal for image archiving for the future.

■Scan images without shine due to the light source arrangement that avoids specularly reflected light.Even wet materials (wooden tablets, etc.) can be captured neatly without getting shiny. This is the biggest feature of image scanners that cannot be imitated by camera-type scanners.
