■L7 load balancing support

The Web Beagle series has a standard redundant configuration of two units per set. New features have been added while maintaining ease of use and affordability. L7 load balancing/new GUI/bonding connections (600B)

■New Web Beagle reduces server load with more advanced balancing

In recent years, access to web content has increased due to improved communication environments and the spread of smart devices. Under these circumstances, regardless of the scale of the service, it is essential to build an environment that can handle rapid increases in traffic and concentration of transactions, and this has become a major issue in infrastructure construction. The Web Beagle 400B/500B/600B's L7 load balancer provides advanced load balancing at the L7 level using application layer (7th layer) information, in addition to conventional load balancing at the L4 level based on port numbers and IP addresses. Load balancing is possible. In addition, the load on the web server can be reduced with the SSL offload function. The biggest feature of the Web Beagle is that the standard configuration consists of two units, making it an extremely cost-effective product as a redundant configuration device. Main features of Web Beagle 400B “L4/L7 load balancer”

■Diverse load balancing algorithm

Load distribution processing is possible using algorithms such as round robin, weighted round robin, least connection (minimum connection), and first test response time (fastest response).

■Renewal of web management screen design

The existing Web Beagle web management screen design has been redesigned to make it easier to see and use.

■Visualize traffic and load distribution status in graphs

You can display Web Beagle's system status (CPU, memory, HDD, traffic) in graphs and check past load status. Additionally, traffic and load distribution status for each Virtual Server can be visualized using graphs.

■Strengthening SNMP manager cooperation

Traffic and load distribution status for each Virtual Server can be obtained using the extended MIB. Centralized management is possible using SNMP manager software.

■SSL offload

SSL encryption/decryption processing function Web Beagle reduces the load on the backend server.
