About This Product

■Summary

Hallite T087 wear rings have the ability to support lateral loads and eliminate stick and slip between moving parts. Standard material is manufactured from a special combination of PTFE and bronze. It has excellent heat resistance and creep resistance, and is suitable for wear rings that perform reciprocating, oscillating, or rotating motion with or without lubrication. Our range of standard cross-sectional sizes are designed to wrap around a wide range of rod or piston diameters. In hydraulic cylinders, it is also used as a contamination ring due to its excellent ability to bury contaminants. Hallite T087 can also be used in many applications other than hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Compatible with hydraulic mineral oils, lubricating oils, water-based and flame-retardant hydraulic fluids, and lubricating greases. This material is rated at 200°C, but the maximum recommended temperature for wear applications is 150°C. Hallite T087 is available in rolls in meter or foot lengths. We can also supply the length according to the size requested by the customer. Furthermore, we also offer cut and molded products tailored to piston and rod applications.
