SenseAir Workplace is an alcohol checker that uses the NDIR method (non-dispersive infrared method). Compared to the conventional semiconductor method and fuel cell method (electrochemical method), there is no deterioration of the sensor element, and by performing periodic calibration, high-precision measurements can be made over a long period of time.
In addition, a unique airflow mechanism that maintains a constant flow of exhaled air enables high-speed, continuous, and stable measurement over long periods of time. Since it is a non-contact measurement type that does not require a mouthpiece, it is also excellent in terms of hygiene.

SenseAir Workplace is an alcohol detector that uses NDIR (non-dispersive infrared) sensor technology. Conventional semiconductor and fuel cell methods (electrochemical methods) generally tend to have short lifespans because the sensor element deteriorates due to chemical reactions each time it is measured.
On the other hand, with the NDIR method, the alcohol concentration in breath is measured using infrared rays with a unique absorption wavelength of the gas being measured, and the sensor element itself does not cause any chemical reaction, so calibration is not required for each measurement. There is no limit to the number of measurements, and stable measurements can be made over a long period of time.
Another feature is that the unique airflow mechanism that maintains a constant flow of exhaled air allows for accurate checking of alcohol in exhaled breath in a short time and without waiting time. By simultaneously measuring the carbon dioxide concentration in exhaled breath and estimating the exhaled volume, alcohol concentration can be accurately measured in a non-contact manner without a mouthpiece, making it excellent in terms of hygiene.
