About This Product

In recent years, the need for refrigerant leak detection has been increasing, primarily as a requirement for air conditioners. Senseair's Sunlight R32 and R290 are sensor modules for HC-R applications that address these needs and have a wide range of applications with refrigerants based on R32 and R290. Senseair Sunlight R32 is a new generation NDIR sensor (non-dispersive infrared absorption method). Solid-state optics and modern electronics result in a sensor that is robust and highly resistant to vibrations. This solid-state design offers an advantage in harsh environments and applications with explosive risks. The Senseair Sunlight R32 is the first NDIR sensor to incorporate an LED light source, making it a true power-saving sensor while maintaining high measurement accuracy. The Senseair Sunlight R32 is designed as a mass-produced sensor with full serial number traceability of its major components and manufacturing process. The Senseair Sunlight R32 is individually calibrated and by enabling the built-in ABC algorithm (automatic baseline correction), the sensor is maintenance-free and has a long life expectancy of >15 years. Communication interfaces include UART (Modbus) and I²C. Senseair Sunlight R32 is a sensor module designed for integration into mass-produced host equipment and can be used in a wide range of applications as an R32-based refrigerant measurement sensor.
