"Tera-SED" is a photoconductive switching element that generates terahertz waves when a femtosecond pulse laser is input. It features a large device area. It is driven with a bias voltage of 1V or more and generates terahertz waves of up to 1 to 1.5 THz.
■Tera-SED has 2 models depending on device size.
・Tera-SED3 (device size 3mm x 3mm) model: 3mmx3mm model is suitable for femtosecond oscillators.
・Tera-SED10 (device size 10mm x 10mm) model: Compatible with femtosecond pulses with a maximum pulse energy of up to 300μJ, suitable for high-power femtosecond lasers.
The Tera-SED terahertz emitter does not require external cooling and can be attached to a 1-inch optical holder, making it easy to handle.
