■Features
This is a high-speed UV laser marking system equipped with an LD pumped solid state laser. Fine and sharp markings can be made using UV light. UV laser marking is also called cold marking, and has the characteristics of not applying heat to the workpiece (no damage), high color development, and high durability. In addition, this laser system is capable of UV ablation and engraving on many materials, and can also be used for micro-processing such as scribing/drilling on sapphire glass, resin, metal, etc., and removing thin films such as ITO. A major feature of the SAMURAI system is its high customizability. After installation, customers can replace the laser system and change optical lenses such as FΘ lenses (focus spot diameter and printing area). Therefore, it is possible to initially install a low-power laser for printing, and then switch to a high-power laser for processing or later. The laser system has a lineup of 355nm (UV) wavelength models up to 50W models, and is also compatible with other wavelength lasers such as 532nm.
