■LD PIV series overview
The LD PIV laser system manufactured by Litron Lasers in the UK is a dual-head laser system using LD-pumped Nd:YLF. The maximum pulse energy is 30mJ @ Single shot to 20kHz, and this model can be used as a high-speed PIV or excitation light source.
The laser head is optically and mechanically stable due to its invar-rail construction, and Litron's patented resonator design provides extremely stable laser beam oscillation. In addition, the laser system can be controlled by a PC and the oscillation of each resonator can be controlled by inputting TTL signals, so it can be used not only for PIV applications but also for applications that use only one resonator.
