About This Product

■PEM® fasteners for stainless steel base materials help make stainless steel products lighter and smaller.A very basic thing about self-clinching is that the fastener must always be harder than the base material to ensure proper and permanent installation. Attaching fasteners to stainless steel substrates is particularly difficult. Therefore, we have developed special hardened stainless steel fastener products for stainless steel base materials.

Fasteners made from precipitation-hardened stainless steel, including A286 stainless steel, are particularly useful in applications such as outdoor equipment, medical equipment, chemical processing equipment, food processing equipment, or equipment in harsh environments.

■SFP™ Spot First® FastenerSFP™ SpotFirst® fasteners attach stainless steel substrates to other substrates in a flush situation.
- Can join two base materials.
・High corrosion resistance.
- Can be used as a flat embedded pivot axis.
- Can be installed flush with the upper plate and at approximately the same height as the lower plate.
・Used for base materials with hardness below HRB88/HB183.
