About This Product

■PEM® fasteners for stainless steel base materials help make stainless steel products lighter and smaller.A very basic thing about self-clinching is that the fastener must always be harder than the base material to ensure proper and permanent installation. Attaching fasteners to stainless steel substrates is particularly difficult. Therefore, we have developed special hardened stainless steel fastener products for stainless steel base materials.

Fasteners made from precipitation-hardened stainless steel, including A286 stainless steel, are particularly useful in applications such as outdoor equipment, medical equipment, chemical processing equipment, food processing equipment, or equipment in harsh environments.

■PFC4™ panel fastenerPFC4™ panel fasteners are for stainless steel substrates and can be installed and removed using just a screwdriver.
- Can be installed and removed with just a screwdriver, meets UL1950 "Service Area Access" requirements, and provides reliable screw tightening in accordance with the EC Machinery Directive.
- Thread lengths are available to accommodate most applications.
・Used for stainless steel base material with hardness HRB88/HB183 or less.
