About This Product

■PEM® brand fasteners utilize surface mounting, broaching, and flaring techniques for printed circuit boards.No matter how advanced electronic components become, they must be securely fixed to a printed circuit board in order to perform well. PEM provides fasteners for assembling parts and boards, boards and boards, and boards and sheet metal.

Reel Fast® surface mount fasteners can be attached to printed circuit boards in the same process and in the same manner as other mounted components, prior to the reflow oven. The zipper has become an electronic component. This reduces the risk of damage when fasteners are attached to the board in a separate process.

Fasteners are supplied in tape and reel that can be used with existing mounters. Reel-first results in faster assembly time, less scrap, less man-hours, and less board damage.

■SMTSS™ Reel Fast® Snap Top® SpacerSMTSS™ Reel Fast® Snap Top® Spacers can secure printed circuit boards using the spring properties of fasteners without using screws.
