About This Product
■PEM® brand clinching nuts are used for attaching and fixing to base materials such as aluminum, steel, or stainless steel.
When installing a clinching nut, insert it into an appropriately sized base metal mounting hole and apply pressure parallel to the nut head. The base metal around the shank flows into the undercut and the fastener becomes part of the base metal. After installation, the knurled clinching ring prevents the fastener from rotating.
■S™/SS™/CLA™/CLS™/CLSS™ Nut
A high-strength screw for thin plates with outstanding push-out resistance and torque-out resistance.
・S/SS nuts can be installed on steel or aluminum base materials with hardness below HRB80 / HB150.
・CLS/CLSS nuts can be installed on steel or aluminum base materials with hardness below HRB70 / HB125.
・CLA nuts can be installed on steel or aluminum base materials with hardness below HRB50/HB82.
