■Features of Heiwa Denki plate heater (space heater)
A plate heater is a flat heater whose heating wire is insulated with a heat-resistant mica plate and its outer periphery is covered with a metal plate. It adheres closely to flat surfaces and provides a well-balanced heat conduction effect.
Two types of standard plate heaters are available: double-terminal type and single-terminal type, allowing you to choose the arrangement that suits your equipment structure. It is also possible to use a structure in which the lead wires come out directly from the heater without using terminals.
■Warnings when using the plate heater (space heater)
Please use according to the rated voltage of the heater. Using the product at a voltage other than the specified voltage may cause fire, electric shock, or leakage. Do not touch the heater with bare hands while it is energized or immediately after it is energized. It generates heat at high temperatures and may cause burns.
Please refrain from adding additional work to the product. Doing so may cause electric shock or wire breakage. Do not use in air or liquid where moisture or oil is present. Be sure to turn off the power when touching the heater. Touching it while the power is on is dangerous as it may cause electric shock.
■Precautions when using the plate heater (space heater)
Please avoid shocks caused by dropping the heater, as this may cause malfunction, disconnection, electrical leakage, or electric shock. Please refrain from applying strong loads (pulling, etc.) to the heater terminals and lead wires, as this may cause malfunction, disconnection, electrical leakage, or electric shock. Install the heater so that it is in close contact with the surface to be heated. Also, please be aware that the band may loosen due to thermal expansion after heating.
