About This Product

Vyloglas is a thermosetting dry molding material made from crystalline unsaturated polyester resin, and has excellent electrical insulation, flame retardancy, and heat resistance. Vyroglass has superior handling, moldability, and storage stability compared to BMC molding materials. We offer heat-resistant grades, flame-retardant grades, and heat dissipation grades to meet various requirements. Vyroglass is ideal for applications that require high reliability, such as electrical equipment, electronic components, automotive electrical components, and heat-resistant components. Unlike thermoplastic resins, it does not melt even when the ambient temperature rises, so it is highly durable and is ideal as a molding material that greatly improves safety performance. Features

■Flame retardant

Halogen-free and heavy metal-free environmentally friendly material, UL94 V-0 (VG-7100, 7150), tracking resistance (900V), arc resistance (≧195 seconds), glow wire test (960℃) compatible

■Heat resistance

Continuous use temperature 180℃ (UL746B), dielectric strength 185℃ (2.0mm) according to the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law, no deformation or melting due to heat at a heat distortion temperature of 250℃ or higher

■Moldability

Compatible with injection molding, transfer molding, and compression molding, pellet-like, easy to weigh, easy to handle, has excellent storage stability (6 months/30℃), and can be exported to Southeast Asia, etc.

■Technical information 1. Bending properties after heat resistance test

Vyroglass has excellent heat resistance and maintains high mechanical properties even in environments where it is continuously heated to 180℃ (air).

Vyroglass has excellent heat resistance and maintains high mechanical properties even under conditions of severe temperature changes.

■Technical information 3. Insulation resistance change after boiling

Vyloglas maintains high insulation resistance even after boiling tests, contributing to product safety, compared to phenol and polyester thermosetting molding materials used in conventional electrical parts.

■Technical information 4. Strength change due to environmental test (85℃, 85%)

Vyroglass maintains high mechanical properties even after environmental testing, contributing to product reliability.

■Technical information 5. Oil resistance

Vyroglass has excellent oil resistance and is ideal for electronic and electrical parts in automotive applications.

■Technical information 6. Flame retardant

Vyroglass is an environmentally friendly material that is halogen-free and antimony-free. Flame retardant grades are available up to UL94 V-0 performance.
