About This Product

■Interior materials made of natural materialsPlaster Remage is a sheet-type interior material that reproduces plaster, a natural material that has been used since ancient times, using a dry method. The thickness is 0.4mm. It is processed into a flexible sheet that can be applied in the same way as wallpaper. Due to the alkaline nature of plaster, it has excellent antibacterial properties against mold and various fungi over a long period of time.

In Japan, white-walled warehouses protect furniture from mold, and in Europe, the antibacterial properties of plaster have been incorporated into architectural environments to prevent epidemics. We offer 3 types and 6 types to meet various needs. It is ideal not only for residences but also for public facilities such as art galleries, museums, and hospitals.

■From “painting” to “pasting”Stucco Lumage is a sheet-type wall covering with a three-layer structure. This is the world's first natural interior material that has been successfully made into a sheet of plaster by forming a layer of slaked lime, which is the base material for plaster, on a special base paper, and then covering that layer with a curing sheet.

In order to compact the slaked lime during production, the result is a dense structure similar to that of a piece compacted with a metal trowel by a skilled plasterer. The construction method has changed from the traditional wet method to a dry method that matches modern architectural styles, and after pasting, it reacts with carbon dioxide in the air and gradually hardens. As a result, it exhibits the same robustness and mold resistance as the plaster finish obtained using traditional Japanese construction methods, and also provides a soft and universal white wall, making it a lifelong interior finish for buildings that can withstand the passage of time. can be provided.

■Mold preventionThe inside of plaster is alkaline. Therefore, the growth of mold can be strongly suppressed. Even today, many breweries and warehouses that produce sake, wine, miso, and soy sauce have plastered walls to prevent the growth of unnecessary fungi. Stucco walls can also be found in wine cellars in France and Italy.

■Moisture absorption and release propertiesThe surface of plaster has a microporous structure, so it absorbs moisture when the humidity is high and releases moisture when it dries. This property, like natural wood, adjusts the space to a comfortable state.

■Formaldehyde adsorption<Stucco Remage> adsorbs formaldehyde in the air. Reduces formaldehyde, which is considered to be one of the causes of sick building syndrome.
