About This Product
■What is Alpolic?
ALPOLIC® is an aluminum-resin composite board with a three-layer structure using aluminum for the surface and resin for the core material. It started in 1971 as a signboard and housing material, and is now used as a building material in many countries around the world. Various designs can be created by changing the composition, such as the ALPOLIC®/fr series, which uses a fire-retardant core material (fr core material) and has obtained domestic and international fire-retardant certification grades, and the ALPOLIC®/fr SCM, which uses stainless steel on the surface.・It exhibits its characteristics and can be used in a wide range of applications.
■Lightweight and high rigidity
By using a material with a lighter specific gravity for the core material, it can be made lighter than a metal plate with the same rigidity and thickness.
■Smoothness
The sandwich structure of metal and resin provides a high level of smoothness that is difficult to achieve with thin aluminum veneers or other metal veneers.
■Workability
Processing such as cutting, bending, and joining is easy, and installation work can be simplified.
■Shock resistance
It is more difficult to break and has excellent impact resistance than Keikal board, asbestos cement board, gypsum board, resin board, etc.
■Recyclability
Alpolik 🄬 products are recyclable materials.
■Water resistance
It is more resistant to corrosion than wood or iron, and can be used around water.
■Fire resistance
The Alpolic/fr🄬 series has been certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as a non-combustible material or semi-non-combustible material, and has also cleared the fire safety standards of other countries.
■Corrosion resistance/weather resistance
Coated on the aluminum surface, it has excellent corrosion resistance and weather resistance. In particular, Alpolik 🄬, which has a fluororesin coating on its surface, exhibits high weather resistance even in harsh environments, including coastal areas.
■Thermal insulation/sound insulation/vibration damping properties
It has lower thermal conductivity than a metal veneer and also has excellent vibration damping properties. Furthermore, when compared at the same weight, it has better sound insulation than metal veneer.
■Maintenance/Economy
When using ALPOLIC🄬 for interior and exterior finishing construction materials, the product's high durability and maintainability reduce total life cycle costs.
■Design/painting quality
By using a special paint coater, we achieve stable paint quality with little color unevenness. Designs such as stone grain patterns, wood grain patterns, and abstract patterns can also be created by applying printing technology.
