About This Product
■Summary
Kaidac is a polymer alloy, an acrylic-modified high impact-resistant PVC board that takes advantage of the characteristics of a composition similar to metal alloys. It has high impact resistance comparable to polycarbonate. It has chemical resistance, which is a feature of PVC resin. It has good heat forming properties such as vacuum forming. Flame retardant UL94V-0, 5VA compliant products are available. Some varieties have passed the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's railway vehicle material combustion test.
■Can also handle large molded products
It is possible to handle large size molding with a length of 2m or more and deep drawing molding. This material is particularly suitable for thin-walled molded products over a wide area (1m x 2m x 2mm wall thickness, etc.).
■Mold reproducibility comparable to injection molding (air pressure molding)
Excellent appearance can be obtained due to good dimensional accuracy such as mold reproducibility of corner parts. It is also possible to improve the design of complex deep-drawn curved surfaces.
■Multi-product, small-lot production possible
Since mold costs are low, production is possible from just one mold. In addition, there is no loss due to resin changes (color changes), and design changes can be easily made.
■No need for surface treatment after molding
The color tone and surface pattern of the plastic sheet can be preserved even after molding. Therefore, depending on the application, post-treatment such as painting is not required.
