About This Product

Carbolite Gero's TSR rotary kiln series incorporates the innovations developed in the TS segmented tube furnace series into equipment required for large-scale batch processing of free-flowing materials such as powders. The TSR series consists of a split tube furnace mounted horizontally on a base frame and equipped with a friction drive rotation system, which allows the working tube to rotate at up to 10 rpm. The frame can be manually tilted up to 6° to suit the requirements of the materials being processed. Accessory working tubes can be easily replaced depending on the physical or chemical demands of the process. An optional built-in gas system allows the TSR rotary kiln to operate under a modified atmosphere.

Here you'll find the culmination of over 80 years of thermal engineering, combining the latest technological developments, robust construction, high-quality components, and a sleek, modern aesthetic. The rotational motion of the TSR increases the surface area of ​​the sample material exposed to the atmosphere within the working tube, which helps reduce reaction time and improve overall yield. Equipped with a 5 liter vibratory feeder and matching collection hopper, the TSR is an ideal choice for continuous heat treatment processes.

■Options

・Excess temperature rise prevention device (recommended when heating high-value samples or operating unattended operation) -Sophisticated digital controllers, multi-segment programmers, data loggers and digital communication options are also available.
