About This Product

The FST (single zone) and FZS (three zone) split tube furnaces can be used vertically or horizontally and have a maximum operating temperature of 1,300°C. The split heating module allows easy positioning of work tubes or around reactors with fixed end flanges. Additionally, the split design allows for faster sample cooling. The housing is equipped with cooling channels to aid convection cooling of the external case. The top half of the split tube furnace is fitted with a handle and two quick release clamps to safely unlock and lock the furnace. The two furnace halves are ceramic fiber modules with high-quality APM wire heating elements mounted inside insulation and held in place by ceramic retaining ridges. A safety switch protects the operator by turning off the heating element once the furnace is opened. We also have a wide selection of furnace customization and tubular furnace accessories.
