■What is a flower box?Flower box literally means "box of flowers". It can also mean a gift box filled with flowers, but in the world of architecture it refers to a pedestal for placing flower pots outside a window. From time to time in foreign movies you may see flower boxes set up in apartment buildings on narrow streets.
Flower boxes are used to make effective use of small spaces and brighten up homes. Although the main focus is on flowers, it is not uncommon for flower boxes to be seen as decoration and installed in single-family homes.

Generally, flower boxes have a curved design, so just by installing them, you can transform your home into an elegant Western-style home. It's a small change, but just having a flower box makes it fun to look at the house from outside, or vice versa, to open the windows and look outside.

■Flower box material and shapeFlower boxes generally have a Western-style curved shape. The material used is cast aluminum, which is both sturdy and light, so if it is firmly attached to the outside wall, it will not fall off. It depends on the company handling it, but many have a load capacity of 60 kg. There are also flower boxes made of aluminum shapes.

There are variations in the shape of the lattice, including vertical lattice, horizontal lattice, double lattice lattice, and lattice lattice. Lattice lattice has a distinctive design in which the bars intersect diagonally, and is often used when you want to create a stylish look.
