About This Product

■What is a power regulator (thyristor unit SCR)?This is a device that inputs analog signals such as 4 to 20 mA and continuously and finely adjusts the power supply to the heater. You can choose between the phase control method that controls the power waveform and the low-noise zero-cross control method that controls the power cycle. With the phase control method, by using the soft start function, it is possible to control the primary side of heaters and transformers with large inrush currents.

■Excellent responsiveness and reproducibility with digital control- Digitally controlled operation device equipped with a display and setting keys on the front.
・With a soft up (soft start)/soft down setting of 0 seconds, the response is fast and can handle high-speed temperature rises.

■Equipped with loader communication for easy data management-Equipped with a front loader communication port to improve maintainability on site.
・Protem2, a controller and indicator setting data management support tool, is available.

■Equipped with a wide range of functions as standardAbundant functions such as external contact input, soft up (soft start)/soft down, manual/automatic switching, slope setting, output limiter, output bias, input-phase angle proportional/input-voltage proportional/input-power phase angle proportional switching is equipped as standard.

■Reducing the size of the transformer without limiting the magnetic flux density of the transformer (optional)The transformer primary side control function can suppress excessive currents caused by momentary power outages on the load side (transformer). When controlling the primary side of a transformer, use a transformer with primary side control function. There are no restrictions on the magnetic flux density of the transformer.

■Heater disconnection with non-linear load can be detected.- Up to 3 inflection points can be set according to the characteristics of the heater. It can also be used with loads (such as lamp heaters) that have large resistance changes due to temperature.
- Automatic setting of inflection point is possible.
