About This Product

■What is a power regulator (thyristor unit SCR)?This is a device that inputs analog signals such as 4 to 20 mA and continuously and finely adjusts the power supply to the heater. You can choose between the phase control method that controls the power waveform and the low-noise zero-cross control method that controls the power cycle. With the phase control method, by using the soft start function, it is possible to control the primary side of heaters and transformers with large inrush currents.

■Excellent responsiveness and reproducibility with digital control- Digitally controlled operation device equipped with a display and setting keys on the front.
・With a soft up (soft start)/soft down setting of 0 seconds, the response is fast and can handle high-speed temperature rises.

■Available for heaters with special characteristicsConstant voltage control, constant current control, and constant power control are possible, so it can be used with heaters whose resistance value changes greatly depending on temperature changes, such as noble metals (platinum/molybdenum), superkanthal, and silicon carbide.

■Multi-memory area functionThe memory area function allows you to store 4 patterns of heater burnout settings, making it easy to change heater burnout alarm settings.

■Reducing the size of the transformer without limiting the magnetic flux density of the transformer (optional)The transformer primary side control function can suppress excessive currents caused by momentary power outages on the load side (transformer). When controlling the primary side of a transformer, use a transformer with primary side control function. There are no restrictions on the magnetic flux density of the transformer.

■Heater disconnection with non-linear load can be detected.- Up to 3 inflection points can be set according to the characteristics of the heater. It can also be used with loads (such as lamp heaters) that have large resistance changes due to temperature.
- Automatic setting of inflection point is possible.
