Sunnen's portable horn allows you to easily perform highly accurate honing using your own drilling machine, electric drill, etc. Ideal for finishing hardened workpieces that are too large in diameter or difficult to machine with regular tools. Finishing with a processing tolerance of 0.01 to 0.02 mm is possible in a short time, making it an essential item at manufacturing, maintenance, preservation, and repair sites.

■Product features

・Honing can be performed using a drilling machine, electric drill, etc. - Used to finish hardened workpieces that have too large a diameter or are difficult to machine with regular tools. ・It is possible to finish machining dimensions with a tolerance of 0.01 to 0.02 mm in a short machining time. - Easily perform highly accurate finishing and honing.

■Processing materials

■Finishing tolerance

0.013mm - Corrects holes that are too small, tapered, bulges inward (drilled holes), bowed outwards (bellmouth holes), or have poor roundness.

■Toll charge

A cast iron hole (length 300 x diameter 150 mm) can be expanded to φ0.05 mm per minute, and the harder the material, the lower the feed rate.
