About This Product

■Product overview

- Knorr's paper filter KF series is a very compact paper filter. -Can be used as a standalone cleaning unit or in combination with a chip conveyor. (machining center, etc.) Can be used locally (for one machine tool) or as a filter for central coolant (for multiple machine tools).

■Filtration process

- Contaminated liquid flows into the filter tank through the side inlet ・Filter fleece filters out contaminants while rotation is stopped ・Contaminants form a filter cake and even finer contaminants are separated. ・Filtered liquid collects in a clean tank

■Regeneration process

-Growing filter cake increases resistance ・The liquid level in the filter tank will rise. ・The belt drive is turned on at a set level (or: time-controlled) ・The carrier belt carries the clean filter fleece to the filter surface. -Resistance decreases and the liquid level drops again. ・Sludge container or winding unit (optional) collects dirty filter fleece *Other model numbers are available.
