About This Product

■Product overview

Knorr's semi-dry (MQL) device produces a stable mist with extremely fine, homogeneous particles. Because it supplies mist stably, there is little loss of lubricity and high speed rotation of up to 45,000 rpm is possible. In addition, the chips are extremely dry, making it easy to remove chips and minimize cleaning time around the workpiece and machine.

■Excellent lubricity

Supplying micronized coolant oil to the cutting edge provides excellent lubricity.

■Longer tool life

It minimizes cutting tool wear and allows heat to dissipate efficiently, contributing to stable machining accuracy and surface roughness, and longer tool life.

■Wide range of supply patterns

Our proprietary ATS technology (aerosol dry lubrication) allows up to 30 combinations of mist and air volume. Compatible with both external or internal supply.

■Improvement of work environment

Since only a small amount of coolant oil is consumed, there is less impact on the environment, and at the same time it improves the environment at the work site.

■Mechanism

・Compressed air flows into the blowout device via the air volume control valve. ・Oil is supplied from the container to the jetting device. ・Mix air and oil with a jetting device to create a very fine aerosol ・Air and aerosol control valves adjust the air pressure and saturation of the aerosol ・Aerosol containing an appropriate mixture of air and oil is ejected through the following route. ・Rotary feed through → spindle → tool holder → tool
