MAPAL's hydro chuck "High Torque Chuck" has a 3° tapered slim tip model (interference prevention type) and a short heavy duty (heavy cutting compatible type) model. By incorporating an innovative additive manufacturing method (3D printing), we combine the slimness of a shrink chuck with the simple handling of hydraulic clamp expansion technology. The benefits of two areas are combined in one product.
■Product features
A new manufacturing method and additive manufacturing method (3D printing) has achieved a slim 3° taper at the tip and high gripping force. No expensive shrink unit required. High torque transmission and temperature resistance range contribute to improved processing stability.
This new type of hydro chuck "HTC" not only offers excellent benefits in the mold manufacturing field, but is also effectively used in the automobile and aviation industries. Suitable for all types of machining, especially effective for fine contour machining. The tools can also be easily and quickly removed.

・Pressure resistant structure up to 80 bar due to the use of high quality hardened spring steel
