About This Product

■Product overview

MAQ now has a line of milling products featuring patented STMD (Self-Tuning Mass Damper) technology. STMD technology improves operating parameters leading to increased productivity.

■Product features

MAQ has developed a new product line for milling operations that fits the ISO backend of HSK100A, HSK63A, PSC-C5, BT40, BT50 and the ISO frontend of Arbor 6462. If the vibration frequency of the milling process fluctuates, STMD technology automatically adjusts and the tool itself adapts to the new situation. The mass damper automatically tunes to new conditions and maintains a highly efficient energy transfer between the mass damper and the tool body. Therefore, you will always get the most stable cut regardless of the parameters used. By simply selecting MAQ products, you can further increase production efficiency by 30% to 50% with the same processing machine.
