About This Product

■Product overviewPrecision power chuck KCHP/VKCHP was developed for cylindrical grinding machines. To achieve long life, the chuck is dust-proof (sealed) and permanently lubricated with internal oil. These functions are virtually maintenance-free.

The new precision power chuck KCHP/VKCHP has a function to prevent unnecessary oil loss and coolant intrusion. KCHP can be operated with a hydraulic drawbar and can also be operated with air by installing an air cylinder on the main shaft side.

The VKCHP is operated by a rotating air tube that passes through the main shaft. Therefore, it is not necessary to install an air cylinder.

Achieved quick change of claws with tolerances on the micron scale. All power chucks KCHP/VKCHP allow quick change of jaws using spherical positioning pins. This eliminates the need for regrinding even if the jaws are removed from the chuck.
