■H.E.A.T. (High Energy Applied Technology) technology enables high-speed machining even when the nozzle cannot be brought into close contact.In wire electrical discharge machining, the head cannot approach the workpiece in order to avoid unevenness on the top surface of the workpiece or interference with jigs, etc., and in most cases the nozzle at the tip cannot come into close contact with the workpiece. By using H.E.A.T., it is possible to perform high-speed and highly accurate machining even when the nozzle cannot be placed in close contact with the machine. This is made possible by supplying high pressure and a large amount of jet flow from a large-capacity independent double jet pump.

■Features/SpecificationsThe wire electrical discharge machine U3 H.E.A.T uses a fixed work table that achieves high repeatability even when loaded with the maximum mass of workpieces. The processing tank's elevating front door lowers below the top of the table, allowing workers to reach the bottom of the workpiece. Even if the core is accidentally dropped, it can be easily retrieved. The machining fluid tank is a space-saving design that is integrated with the casting of the machine body. This reduces the footprint and improves thermal stability.

It has built-in processing conditions that can be set to suit various workpieces and wire materials, and automatically creates optimal conditions. And we always select processing conditions that result in low wire consumption. You can obtain the best machining results regardless of your experience.

The machine control system is equipped with Hyper-i, which allows intuitive operation. Operation is an efficient interface consisting of three categories: program/setup/operation. Extremely simple operation helps reduce setting errors and speeds up work. The high-resolution 24-inch touchscreen feels like a tablet and provides operators with all the information they need to stay productive, including user manuals, help features, and training tutorials. Improve operator competency while reducing training time.

The development of a new round guide system has significantly reduced maintenance work. By providing a guide to maintain the wire center position between the wire guide and the power feed plate, the wire center position will not shift or the verticality of the wire will not change even if the power feed plate wears out. Vertical removal for preventive maintenance several times a year is sufficient. The processing fluid filter uses a non-immersion method that does not require it to be installed in water inside the tank. It weighs less when replacing, making work easier.
