About This Product

■Equipped with H.E.A.T. technology that improves the productivity of plastic and die-casting molds for small parts. The maximum workpiece weight is 500kg.

In the mold processing of small parts, demands are increasing such as extremely small inner corner radius, uniform and fine surface roughness, and mold releasability during injection molding. With H.E.A.T. technology, we have achieved high speed and low wear and tear on various machining shapes handled by electrical discharge machines.

■Features/Specifications

The machine is equipped with H.E.A.T. technology for optimal productivity. Hyper-Cut is a control technology that increases discharge energy per unit time. Accurately detecting the discharge state reduces the incidence of abnormal discharge. Super Spark is a control technology that reduces rough machining time regardless of the electrode or workpiece material. When used in combination with Hyper-Cut, machining time can be further reduced. In order to achieve faster rib machining, the Z-axis jump function has been significantly strengthened. 20m/min high-speed jump (HS-Rib) effectively discharges machining waste and shortens machining time. This significantly reduces machining time and electrode wear. The symmetrical structure of the cast main body suppresses the effects of environmental temperature changes on the main body posture. A heat shield layer is installed between the heat source concentrated at the rear and the machine body to prevent heat transfer. Furthermore, temperature-controlled machining fluid is circulated through the castings that make up the Y/Z axis to suppress thermal displacement of the main body. By circulating temperature-adjusted machining fluid around the axis of the Z-axis ball screw, changes in the spindle's posture can be suppressed and machining can be performed with stable depth accuracy. Effective for machining that requires high-speed jumps. The control device is equipped with Makino's Hyper i. Using the latest technology used in smartphones and tablet devices, we have achieved a simple and natural operation feeling. We also offer a "flower pattern" processing condition that is ideal for semiconductor packages and narrow rib processing that is difficult to polish. Small hole machining specifications that enable highly efficient drilling using pipe electrodes. We have a lot of experience with E/W changers that enable long-term unmanned operation, and connections with robots and transport vehicles.
