About This Product

TH type Heavy Duty enclosure switch (800~1,200A is TC type), 30~1,200A, 600V AC, 600V DC max, fused and unfused, NEMA type 1 indoor, 3R outdoor, 4/4X stainless steel and 5/12 Available in dustproof housing. 30~600A switches with Class R or J fuses are capable of UL listed short circuit currents of 200kA rms (SCCR). An 800-1,200 A switch with a Class L fuse has an SCCR of 100kA rms. It is UL and cUL listed (UL 98 and CSA C22.2 No. 4-04), NEMA KS1 compliant, and can be used as a UL listed power entry switch when installed according to NEC guidelines.

■Safety first

Highly visible ON/OFF labels and coin-proof built-in interlocks reduce the possibility of incorrect operation or tampering. Easy-to-grip, hook-stick operated red handle locks 3 padlocks in OFF position. Transparent power terminal covers on products with a rated current of 30 to 200 A reveal the location of the blade contacts while preventing electric shock from live parts. Optional sight glass allows visual confirmation of contact blade contact location and fuse status.

■Long and reliable service life

The quick opening/closing mechanism and plated contacts provide high durability. Spring-reinforced fuse contacts ensure reliable contact and prevent contact temperature build-up. Galvanized steel and powder coated finish for outdoor enclosures (unpainted for N4X as it is stainless steel) provides excellent corrosion resistance.

■Shorten installation time

3-point fixing allows for quick and level installation. Wide, unobstructed gutters facilitate cable pulling and connections. Aluminum bronze Cu/Al lugs with an operating temperature of 60/75°C provide a wide range of wire selection. The optional neutral terminal is factory-installed, reducing field installation time and eliminating the possibility of forgetting or incorrectly inserting the neutral terminal.
