About This Product

If a chemical plant is filled with gas, a spark or heat may cause it to explode. To prevent this, we offer a lineup of ``non-spark type'' and ``internal pressure explosion-proof'' motors.

■Overview/Features

The non-sparking type complies with IEC 60079-0, IEC 60079-7 or 15 and EN 60079-0, EN 60079-7 or 15, so it can be used in hazardous areas Zone 2. The internal pressure explosion-proof motor complies with IEC 60079-0, IEC 60079-2 and EN 60079-0, EN 60079-2, so it can be used in hazardous areas Zone 1 and 2.

■Specifications

In brushless synchronous motors ・Ex ec/nA (non-spark type) motor - Individual certification must be obtained for each design. ・No frame limit ・Horizontal & Vertical IECEx & ATEX ・Fixed speed machine ・“Ex p”Pressure Raised internal pressure explosion proof (top hat type) - Individual certification must be obtained for each design. ・No frame limit ・Horizontal & Vertical ・IECEx & ATEX ・Fixed speed machine Although it can be used with variable speed machines, please contact us separately as testing in combination with an inverter may be required to obtain certification. Air purge is required, so please supply fresh air.
