About This Product

■Safe even in places where gasoline is handled. The motor does not become a source of ignition.

At chemical factories and petroleum product factories that handle gasoline, etc., the heat and sparks generated by motors can lead to fires. This is where "sparkless motors" come into play. This motor does not emit even the slightest spark by ensuring a gap between the rotating parts and the contact parts within the motor. Safety is more important than energy efficiency and energy savings.

This series complies with IEC 60079-0, IEC 60079-7 or 15 and EN 60079-0, EN 60079-7 or 15, so it can be used in hazardous areas Zone 2.

■Specifications

・Ex ec/nA non-sparking (top hat type) ・Series certified ・Frame 315 to frame 1,200 ・Horizontal & Vertical ・IECEx & ATEX Can be used with fixed speed machines and variable speed machines. However, variable speed machines are specified as inverters, and only TMdrive series inverter (manufactured by TMEIC) or Toshiba-VF (manufactured by Toshiba) drives are certified.
